MICRONEEDLING

WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a procedure used to stimulate collagen, improve the texture of your skin, and enhance your overall appearance. Our team begin by numbing the area to ensure a comfortable experience, usually with a topical numbing cream. A dermaroller is then used to create small puncture points in your skin. Your body responds to these punctures by producing collagen and elastin to rejuvenate your skin. This process is minimally invasive, and typically takes about 15-30 minutes.

Microneedling is a safe and effective treatment for all skin types, and can be performed on the skin of both your face and your body. Microneedling may be recommended to:

Treat scars, including acne scars

Reduce crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles

Tighten skin and reduce the signs of aging

Reduce sun damage and hyperpigmentation

Eliminate stretch marks

Shrink pores

You may require several microneedling treatments, depending on the condition of yourskin and the look you want to achieve. Our experts will work with you to determine how many treatments you need.
